Our History
The Butte County Child Abuse Prevention Council is a coalition dedicated to the prevention, intervention and treatment of child abuse. Its objectives are to increase public awareness of child abuse and neglect, strengthen families and provide education and professional training.
Established in 1975, the Council consists of individuals from public and private agencies and concerned members of our community.

We aspire to stop the cycle of child abuse and promote healthy families through education, advocacy and collaboration by providing services as Butte County's Child Abuse Prevention Council.
Our Vision
Butte County CAPC'S vision is the elimination of child abuse in Butte County.
